What does LDM do, exactly?

Lindsay Does Makeup is the premier makeup artistry team based in the Tampa bay Area FL. With a combined 41 years of makeup artistry skills between the 4 of us, we specialize in just about anything that includes cosmetics and the face (or body). But more specifically we focus on special occasion, wedding, fashion, production, stage, and editorial makeup. We've worked with every ethnicity and have appropriate foundation shades for people of every color! And if you don't feel like this describes what you are looking for, contact us. If we can't help, we probably know someone who can. With the LDM Studio at the Rialto Theater or on location services, we can accommodate any logistic needs of our clients. Does Lindsay Does Makeup do Hair?

When you put it that way, it's probably no surprise that the answer is no. But many websites assume hair and makeup together, so it's not always that clear. We do NOT style hair. We do carry a few products for quick fixes and placement. But if you are in need of a full blow out or up-do, please make arrangements accordingly. However, not to worry, head on over to Friends of LDM for great people who can help!

What kind of products does Lindsay Does Makeup use?

Unless there's a rare gem from the drug store we've fallen in love with, all products used are from prestige or professional cosmetic brands. LDM does not represent or sell a specific line of makeup. Each of us has spent a few years working for MAC Cosmetics over the years, so you'll see a lot of MAC products in our kits. However, we also carry YSL, Urban Decay, Laura Mercier, NARS, Face Atelier, TEMPTU, Cinema Secrets, Smashbox, Clinique, Embriolisse, Kett, etc. If we like it, we use it. We also carry multiple formulas of foundation to accommodate different skin needs. We can also accommodate most common allergies and sensitive skin. If you have any specific needs, please let us know ahead of time, so your artist can be prepared. 

How do I make an appointment to get my makeup done?

I schedule clients on a first come, first served basis by appointment only. We offer appointments at the LDM Studio which is located within the Rialto Theater 1617 N Franklin St. Tampa FL 33602,  or we can travel to you. There is no travel fee within a 30 mile radius of the LDM Studio.

I am getting married, can I have a trial first?

 Absolutely! In fact, it's so important it's built into your bridal price. All of my brides meet with their artist at the LDM Studio. We do a full run through of the makeup and work on the look until you say 'I LOVE IT!' Unlike other makeup studios, the artist you request will be your artist at your consultation and at your wedding.

What kind of payment does Lindsay Does Makeup take?

We take cash, check and all major credit and debit cards in the Studio and on location.
