Lindsay MacConnell- Owner/Makeup Artist
Lindsay has been a makeup artist for over 18 years. She started her journey performing in live theater, where she found her love of production and character design. Upon graduation of FSU Business School, she moved to NYC to be on the management team of MAC Cosmetics @ Bloomingdales 59th St.; the second largest account in the world. She then moved to Florida and was a MAC regional trainer and store manager for International Plaza, the largest account in the Tampa Bay Area. In 2009, she left retail cosmetics to pursue her dream of Lindsay Does Makeup- her own freelance career. Within the last 9 years, Lindsay Does Makeup blossomed into LDM Beauty Group, an elite team of hair and makeup artists. In 2017, she launched DreamTeam Artistry, which provides full spectrum talent services for commercial/tv production. She is fiercely driven to inspire people to face their fears, go after their dreams, and live a fulfilled life.
Wade Simpson- Makeup Artist
Born and raised in the small town of Thonotosassa outside of Tampa, Wade was inspired by beauty from his mother and grandmother from an early age. Both role models never left the house without lipstick. In 2003, he moved to NYC to pursue a career in the beauty industry with MAC Cosmetics. He spent 2 years of hands on training by some of the best, and built life long friendships with them. Back in Tampa, he continued to work for MAC until 2010 when he began a new chapter working for HSN. There, he was introduced to live TV, print shoots, commercials, and celebrities. During this time, he also worked for the Tampa Bay Buccaneer Cheerleaders on location for photo shoots and live NFL games. Wade continues to work in Tampa as a freelance artist. Weddings and personal clients are the time when he gets to connect with individuals on a personal level. The goal is to leave knowing the client feels beautiful and confident.
Casey Hodgin- Makeup Artist
Tampa based makeup artist and cosmetologist with over 7 years of experience. Casey is a self taught artist who started her career in retail cosmetics gaining an extensive knowledge of brands, products and techniques and has since furthered her career by being a traveling freelance makeup artist. Casey specializes in glamour, bridal, special occasion, editorial and fashion styled makeup .
Leila Easters- Makeup Artist
Leila is a veteran makeup artist with 14 years of experience creating a wide variety of looks from beauty to Special FX and everything in between. Leila has lived in Florida since she was 2 years old and often falls into a Southern accent despite being Persian. She lives in Valrico with her husband and their cat-shaped children. While Leila has always had a passion for art, her love of makeup and the art of transformation began at Saint Leo University when she would do makeup for the school’s theater productions. She spent several years working for MAC Cosmetics and received her Product Specialist certification while there. She used her time with MAC to gain knowledge about products as well as techniques and tricks from the amazing artists she has had the pleasure to work with. Leila loves all styles of makeup and specializes in unique Middle Eastern and South Asian makeup styles for special events and weddings.
Sophie- 9/8/05-8/24/19.
In loving memory of the LDM Boss, specializing in public relations and customer service. Sophie lived her whole life with her mom, Lindsay, as a makeup artist and had a very keen eye for a perfect bridal look. She oversaw many bridal trials and continues to do so from the other side of the rainbow bridge.
Persephone
The next generation has arrived! Persephone arrived 3/27/21 and is learning how to be the best Customer Relations Specialist she can be. She can’t wait to meet you if you come to the LDM Studio…because mom says she can’t go to people’s homes.

Lauren Welch - Hair Stylist
Lauren is a Tampa native, born and raised in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. She has always had a passion for the hair and make up industry. She worked as part of the front desk staff at two local salons while in high school, which helped make her decision to attend cosmetology school. She has been in the industry since 2005, and has since opened her own Salon Suite in April of 2014. Lauren previously has done on location hair with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders..working on site for NFL games, and photo shoots. Lauren has also been freelancing for on location weddings and shoots..while working full time in her studio.

Sylvie Griffiths- Hair Stylist
Sylvie Griffiths has been doing hair in the Tampa Bay Area for over 20 years. She is a writer, a mom of four, and a horror movie fan. Sylvie started working with LDM in 2019 and loves doing bridal and special event hair; the more creative the better. She would love to be a part of your special day!

Casey Cheek- Hair Stylist
Casey Cheek is a hairstylist in both The Tampa Bay and Orlando areas who has worked in the industry for over two decades. Casey enjoys working with brides and bridal parties ,modeling agency clients, television and film clients , celebrities, and photographers. In 2007, Casey became a full-time hairstylist at E! Entertainment , where she was the department head at E! News Now, as well as working on other shows such as E! News, The Daily 10, E. True Hollywood Story, and many red carpet events including The Grammy's ,The Golden Globes, The SAG Awards, and The Oscars. During this time, Casey also worked on other shows for many different networks including CBS, NBC, ESPN , NFL Network and Lifetime. Casey has relocated to Florida where she still serves serves a celebrity clientele and she also passionately works as a mobile hairdresser for any client who wants to look their best for a photoshoot, special event or occasion. Casey harnesses her talent, experience and human kindness to bring out the inner beauty in every client. No matter the event, or budget, Casey will work with you to help you achieve your beauty goals.
